Jani Bojadzi
Director - Screenwriter - Producer
Jani Bojadzi was born in 1970 in Strumica. He comes from a family of emigrants originating from Aegean Macedonia in Greece. He completed his primary and secondary education in Strumica before pursuing higher studies in film directing.
He studied at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov” (NATFIZ) in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the class of Prof. Georgi Dulgerov. In 2014 he received his Master’s degree in Film and Television Directing. In 2022 he obtained his PhD from “Neofit Rilski” University at the Faculty of Arts with the dissertation titled “Tools and Means of Work in Film and Television Directing.”
Bojadzi is currently an Associate Professor of Film and Television Directing at Europa Prima University. In addition to his filmmaking career, he is active in academic research. He is the author of the book Point of View (2024), a scholarly work in the field of film and television studies, and has published numerous articles in academic journals across Europe and internationally.
Alongside his academic work, Bojadzi has had an extensive career in television production. He worked as a producer at Orion Production for ten years and as a producer at the national television channel Kanal 5 for five years. He currently serves as the Chief Executive and Program Director of the national television channel Alfa.
As a filmmaker, Bojadzi has worked as a director, screenwriter and producer on a wide range of film and television projects, including feature films, television series, documentaries and short films. His work explores historical themes, social realities and cultural identity in the Balkans.
Over the course of his career he has been involved in the production of several thousand hours of television programming, including fiction, documentary, variety and music productions for Orion Production, STVA, VIS TV, Kanal 5 and Alfa Television. For several years he was also a regular columnist for Nova Makedonija, writing about art, culture, politics and social relations in Macedonia and beyond.

Şükrü Alaçam
Screenwriter - Director - Producer
Şükrü Alaçam was born in 1981 in Samsun, Türkiye. After completing his primary and secondary education there, he began studying in 1999 at the Department of Structural Drafting Teaching at the Faculty of Technical Education of Fırat University. After one year, he continued his education at Atatürk University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Performing Arts, majoring in Stage Design, from which he graduated in 2004. Following his graduation, he moved to Istanbul and began working at İFR (İstisnai Filmler ve Reklamlar), collaborating with Ezel Akay and serving as an assistant director. From 2006 onwards, he worked independently and took part in various production companies including F Stop, Torpido Film, and Ofis Istanbul.
His first experience in cinema came with the feature film “Love in Another Language” (Başka Dilde Aşk) directed by İlksen Başarır, where he worked as an assistant director. In addition to this role, he was also actively involved in the film’s post-production process. Until 2016, he worked as a producer on numerous music videos and commercial productions. In 2016, he co-founded the production company 3.27 Film together with producer Oya Işıl Çuhadar. With the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, he wrote and directed his first feature film “Locman”, which was released in 2018. He continues to work actively on various projects in the film industry and is also a founding member of the Cinema Film Cooperative, established in 2020.
Zoran Dževerdanović
Productor
Zoran Dževerdanović is a Slovenian film producer and the founder of Blade Production, an independent production company based in Ljubljana. Although he originally graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, his passion for cinema and artistic projects led him to pursue a career in film production and to establish his own company more than a decade ago.
As a producer, Dževerdanović focuses primarily on independent and auteur cinema, with particular interest in genre films, debut features and socially engaged stories. Through Blade Production he has developed and produced numerous feature films, documentaries and short films, often as international co-productions.
Among the most notable projects he produced are the Slovenian horror feature Idyll (2015), the political thriller All Against All (2019), a co-production between Slovenia, Croatia and North Macedonia, and the youth adventure film Tartini’s Key (2024), which premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival and became one of the most successful Slovenian films of the year.
His work also includes internationally recognized short film productions such as Into the Blue (2017), a Croatian–Slovenian–Swedish co-production directed by Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović. The film received the Special Jury Mention at the Berlinale Generation section and won the Heart of Sarajevo Award for Best Short Film, among numerous other international recognitions.
Blade Production collaborates extensively with international partners and filmmakers across Europe. The company’s films have been presented and awarded at major international festivals including Berlinale, Sarajevo, Oberhausen, Chicago, Aspen, and many others.
Dževerdanović is currently developing several new projects, including fiction features and documentary films that continue his focus on innovative storytelling and international co-production.
